The Chinook Charity Open was born from gratitude, resilience, and a deep desire to give back. In April 2020, I faced a life-changing moment a cardiac arrest that left me without a heartbeat for four critical minutes. It was the swift action and unwavering dedication of the Chinook Regional Hospital team that saved my life, leaving an indelible mark on me.

Five years later, I reflect on that pivotal moment with profound gratitude. Surviving such an ordeal has allowed me to not only continue living but also give back to the community that rallied behind me. My volunteer work at the hospital has shown me firsthand the extraordinary care they provide every day, and I feel compelled to ensure their vital efforts are supported for years to come. 

The Chinook Charity Open is my way of turning gratitude into action. By bringing the community together through a shared love of golf, we aim to raise vital funds for The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation. This event is both a heartfelt thank-you to the hospital staff who gave me a second chance at life and a celebration of the unity and strength within our community. Through activities like team-based golf challenges, we hope to inspire connection, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to supporting exceptional healthcare. swing contributes to a healthier future.
